What are the hours of the Edmonton Heritage Festival?


What is the cost?

There is no cost to attend the Festival. Timed-entry passes are required to enter.

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry, no pets allowed on the grounds of Hawrelak Park during the Festival.

How much are food tickets?

There will be no food tickets this year. Patrons can pay with debit or credit directly from the pavilions.

Can I volunteer at the Festival?

Yes! We would love to have you. Please go to our volunteer page to get more information and to sign up.

Is the festival happening this year?

Yes, it is taking place July 31 - Aug 2, 2021 at Hawrelak Park.

What do I need to attend the festival?

Every person entering the park needs a timed-entry pass. You can reserve them here:

Does the time slot on my pass mean I have to leave after two hours?

The time slot on your pass only represents the time window you can enter the park. Enjoy the festival as long as you want!

Do volunteers need to reserve a timed-entry pass?

Volunteers must reserve an “EHFA Volunteer Pass” from Eventbrite. It is the second last option on this page: You only need ONE pass to volunteer for all 3 days.

I am volunteering with a pavilion. Do I need a pass?

Pavilion volunteers can get a “Heritagefest PAVILION VOLUNTEER” pass from Eventbrite. It is the last option on this page:

Is there on-site parking for the Heritage Festival?

On-site parking is NOT available. Ways of getting to the festival include: ETS park and ride, drop-off, co-op taxi, walk-in, and biking. Check out page here for getting to the festival: Also available is ETS’ webpage for more details on park and ride:

Can I get food tickets in advance?

Payments for foods and goods are CASHLESS. Payment will only be accepted through credit and debit card. There are no food tickets this year.

What do I need to bring?

Mask(s), credit and/or debit card, hand sanitizer, hat, umbrella...everything else you would normally want to bring to the festival!

Will there be hand sanitizer available on-site?

Yes, there will be multiple hand sanitizer stations available on-site.

What precautions will be taken for COVID-19 safety? Do I have to wear a mask?

We kindly ask guests to wear masks at all times unless eating, lines will be socially distanced, tents are more spaced out. There will also be socially-distanced eating areas. More information can be found at

Is there parking for World Music Week?

Parking for World Music Week is available for Thursday and Friday ONLY. You can park in any parking spot in the park. **On-site Parking is NOT PERMITTED on Saturday, July 31. Please refer to this page for getting to World Music Week on Saturday
