

We are expected to return to Hawrelak Park in 2026.
In 2019 the Edmonton Heritage Festival Association created a committee to investigate a temporary home for the festival. We produced a list of sites and forwarded them to to City of Edmonton staff and have been working dilligently since, trying to find a home.
The temporary home for Heritagefest will be at Edmonton EXPO Centre & Exhibition Grounds!
The Festival opens the August 2, celebrating its 52nd Anniversary!
This summer, Heritage Festival will be at the Edmonton Exhibition Lands, Borden Park, and Expo Centre. Dates will be August 2-4, 2025

Sorry, no pets allowed on the grounds of Edmonton EXPO Centre, Exhibition Lands, and Borden park. This includes during the Festival.
Guide and service dogs are, of course, allowed.
There will be no food tickets this year. Patrons can pay with debit or credit directly from the pavilions.

Credit and/or debit card, utensils, napkins, hand sanitizer, hat, umbrella...everything else you would normally want to bring to the festival!
Yes, the Edmonton Expo Centre offers handicapped parking spaces for visitors with mobility challenges. Wheelchair rental stations will be located near the DATS service drop-off. Additionally, a shuttle service is provided to transport visitors from the nearby LRT station to Borden Park, making it easy and accessible for everyone to enjoy the festivities.
