Sister City Pavilion

We are proud to celebrate Edmonton’s sister cities … and to kick off this new addition to the Festival we’ve invited NASHVILLE to join the party!

For the next two years you’ll have a chance to hear Nashville performers, taste delicious southern cuisine (bring on the fried chicken and cornbread) and learn all about our Sister City to the south.

The Vikings are coming!

The period of 793 to 1066 is known as the Viking Age, characterized by sea travel and expeditions to foreign lands. We are pleased to welcome The Ravens to the Festival – an historical reenactment group that attempts to recreate life in that period.

You’ll get glimpses of their daily life, and arts and crafts from the era in the Viking Village,  and don’t miss the Viking Combat demonstrations taking place twice daily.

Where's the Village?

Beat the rush and order your tickets online!

Sold in sheets of 20 for $20, you can pay for them ahead of time, and just pick them up at our special ticket booths at the park. Super easy and convenient.

Arrive by boat!

You’ve come to the Festival by bus, bike, and car. Now you can arrive via the North Saskatchewan!  Be among the first to use the City of Edmonton’s new river dock, located just metres from the Hawrelak Ring Road.

Special thank you to all our volunteers!

We are so proud of the amazing community of people that come together and make our annual celebration of culture such a success.

Being an EHFA volunteer means enjoying a sense of community, finding new friendships, developing new skills, and being part of an inclusive environment, and that is only the beginning!
